Tip #1: Buy your tickets online and in advance. It is cheaper and faster. If you are visiting on a weekend, go early. We did and it was great. Later in the day, we noticed the lines were getting long.
Tip#2: Your ticket is good all day so you can check it out, take a break for a bit or do some shopping and then go back.
Tip #3: They have touch tanks. We were able to touch a baby shark and sea stars. The staff was friendly. They did there best to convince the Sassy Diva to touch, but she was not having any of that.
Tip#4 You get to walk over and through the sharks! The boys loved it, the Sassy Diva got a bit freaked out about walking on the clear floor. But, hey she also gets freaked out when walking on the glossy floors in certain malls. So, you just never know about her.
Tip#5 The sting ray tank is a great view, and if that is not enough, you can park your stroller and let the kids go into the "cave" and view the rays and other fish from the cave. Then, go upstairs and look down on the rays from above.
We enjoyed it! The aquarium was very clean. There was no overwhelming fish smell and the variety of animal life is outstanding. My camera died. These are phone photos and it was pretty dark, so they are very grainy.
