This budget excludes the cost of food that we took from home. I honestly did not keep track of how much it cost, but I used a lot of coupons and bought things on sale. I will post a list of some of the things we took and what worked and what we would not take again. We booked rooms with microwaves and ate a lot of microwavable meals. The $250 was the budgeted amount for eating out. We splurged a few times and went well over budget on that.
